A thought to think about..!

Is it love that evokes beauty or is it beauty that evokes love? I have been thinking about this for weeks and weeks now. And I just can’t come to any conclusion. It can happen in both ways. In case of a “love at first sight”, its beauty that evokes love. And in some other circumstances, its love that evokes beauty. Which is stronger? Which will last longer? And which is successful?
Life is strange..!

it’s all relative..
differs with the person you ask..
and i strongly STRONGLY believe that its the former.. love is what evokes beauty..

Love at first sight is the result of God’s calculations, and our “instincts” .
Love at 1000+ sights is the result of well calculated decisions by Us and our “interests”.
When it is the former, ie, love at first sight, its meant to happen, predefined, divine. Comes directly from the heart, an Impulse. In that case, it is the external beauty which matters, and thats how humans were designed by God.To fall in love by external appearence alone, no other worries, just true love.
The other one, comes directly from the brain. We think, rethink and slowly fall in love. This is tightly coupled with the present social setup.Afterall there are things like social status and similes.External appearence is important here also!!
Whatever be the case, true love is the result of the activities of the heart and so in the latter case, there has to be a shift from brain to heart to achieve divinity.
In both cases Failures can happen whenever the heart is opposed by the brain.
And this is the same reason y God dint want us to get smarter. He never expected this, it seems.
“Love without commitment” is purely brain’s work.
Nowadays, even “friendship” is used as an alternative to love without commitment. In that case, its an agreement bwn eachother so that there wont be any “problems” later. Both side knows wat to expect from each other and considering the present social setup, its ok!! lol..
(I may be wrong in my views.)

I strongly disagree with that. Falling in love at the 1000+ sight??? That’s not even the point. You are not falling in love with the person’s looks after that long. You start loving the person for what the person really is and not for how he/she looks like. And neither do i agree that falling in love with a person after “the 1000+th sight” is the result of calculated decisions and interests. You fall in love with the person because of their inner beauty, not their external one. The exterior is encoded into our genes and can hardly be changed. It’s our inner beauty, what we are inside, how we carry ourselves, that matter in true love. External beauty can and will fade with time. Inner beauty only increases with age. So it’s obvious which kind of love would last.
And what about after falling in love? You are not gonna sit and adimre his/her beauty all day long. Falling in love and committing is the union of two souls, not that of two bodies alone. When you fall in love, your external beauty’s importance drops drastically. If the love was based on external beauty, then wouldn’t that be a love that can only be tasted but never swallowed? A love that can be ruined by a single scar? Imagine you love your spouse’s looks and one day he or she has an accident and gets disfigured. Would you leave her and find another “loving” wife? Or would you mourn the loss and live a widower for the rest of your life?
Love and passion come from within. Infatuation and lust come from without. Love will endure. “Love” won’t.
