@Hari – OMG Bro, you have no idea how high up in air I was when I read your comment… :-) You are one major inspirer of mine, when it comes to blogging :-) And I can’t believe a lot of good things you said about my story, coz I simply know it’s not that good :D Neways, I mentioned Wall-E, coz it’s a movie that I love a lot.. Tough job expressing various emotions just thru eyes, rt? Imagine smileys without mouths to express emotions!!! hehe!! But Bro, you’ve made my day… I loved the critical appreciation :-) Noted the mistakes, about the anachronism and esp that it’s too long, since everyone who read it mentioned so.. Thanks a lot, dear :-) Will try to write a better one next time :-)

Nice one,
liked the way to told it. The way you took the scene away from the present,then mentioned bit about other things like the family downstairz,the dog etc and after that bringing the scene back to the initial one, was great.
Was seeing it all scene by scene while reading it.its the success of the writter,if he can make the reader feel what he/she says.
Write more. . .

Four times.

You don’t read a blog post four times. And that too, when you’ve a placement drive happening in your college, and you haven’t even prepared your resume.

I did it! I had my share of goosebumps – yes, every bit of hair on my body was up straight, and that too at the last para! I was actually playing the entire scene in my mind, with the Wall-E song in background!! :P

SHEER AWESOMENESS, CHECHI!

Allow me to share a few observations:

You’re an ace describer-narrator, as always. The language, the grammar – all simple, but flawlessly elegant!
As for the story, to be frank, it was just a normal one – one that could be from your regular bollywood movie. But, you made it so endearingly-wonderful! :)
All said, maybe you should’ve shortened the post. The descriptions about the girl’s background shouldn’t have been this long. It could’ve been crisp.
I somehow felt some anachronism within the post. Maybe it’s just me, but mentioning Wall-E all of a sudden, and other references to the ‘modern’ world, had this dissonance effect. But then again, that’s a puny detail, easily marred by the awesomeness of the post.

P.S.
You should SERIOUSLY take writing seriously! :)
