so nice of u that we the eleven were a part of ur blog even though its almost a decade since we all have “split up”…still u never know!!!!! Vidya this is Arun and of course the gang of 11 is expanding by the coming of “girls” from other families to our house holds….and hopefully a guy also in near future…And a surprise news is there…i am going to be back in Kerala after a period of almost 10 years….no not again as a short trip,…but a change in my organization is bringing me back…

@ Hari Shanker – hmm.. A few of my close friends are from school, not all of them.. :)

I still talk to a lot of my friends from school, who are not so close, but the thing is, when I talk to them, I don’t feel that we’ve been apart for around four years.. I can be totally ‘me’ to them. And they’ll totally get me, without much effort from my side..

Other than the school buddies, I know only very few people who I am that comfortable with. Thankfully, It DOES NOT have to take a decade to find people like that.. I know..

But my point is, I find it quite interesting to have someone in your life whom you’ve known for so many years. And that’s the thing that amazes me. :)

How true! The post brought about a bout of self-realization even for me. I too spent a few minutes looking back at my life (after reading this for the third time, see I’m a compulsive reader!) only to realize that the people I was CLOSE with are those ones whom I’d known for ten years or so!!

I’ve studied in Loyola for thirteen years straight. Despite being a neglected-for-most-parts, underdog all my school life; school friends still (and hopefully, will always) top the list of my best friends!

Another great post from you, sis! You’re indeed lucky to have had great human beings as companions! Makes me envy you!! :)
